NT Cancels Richard Bean's Count of Monte Cristo
The Count of Monte Cristo, Richard Bean's National Theatre follow-up to One Man, Two Guvnors has been pulled from its planned Christmas run. According to the NT, the production, due to open on 27th November has been postponed indefinitely. With 12,000 tickets already sold for the run, both Bean and NT chief Nick Hytner felt the show needed more envelopment time. All tickets will be refunded as the theatre decides what to produce in its place.
