About PitchCentral

Now, more than ever, the performing arts sector needs to find additional ways to increase the value of its products and develop innovative revenue streams that will maximise strong financial return.

As cultural brokers, PitchCentral's objective is twofold. It aims to provide as many opportunities as possible to extend the life of a cultural product utilising as many avenues as it can to achieve this. We also recognise that there are a number of unique talents within the industry that are in demand within the private sector and that this in itself is another route to maximising a financial return while simultaneously satisfying a creative need.

Since its inception, PitchCentral has been involved in a number of exciting projects that has involved creating new markets for two projects, one of which has been nominated for a 2013 Drama Desk Award. It also found an international creative partner to take another project to the next level while also co-creating a brand new production that toured the UK in Spring 2013.

How PitchCentral works for the performing arts sector

PitchCentral works in a number of different ways depending on what you are looking for.

For producers and theatre companies, it’s not only about being aware of new writing looking for production, its about knowing which festivals are looking for product and when; it’s an opportunity to buy or sell production licenses or franchises; to access an up-to-date, comprehensive venue database designed to making tour organization easier.

In short, PitchCentral wants to help you maximise your return on your cultural investment and building your brand by providing the resources that you need to achieve this, at your fingertips.
